The Organ Trio is comprised of 3 of the leading players in the UK on their respective intruments. As well as Nigel, the trio comprises organist Pete Whittaker, one of the country's most in demand hammond men, and Matt Home one of the most versatile and sought after drummers on the London jazz scene, and beyond. The trio have just recorded they're debut album "Fools Gold" on Fret Records (see Recordings page). The repertoire is hard swinging jazz and is guaranteed to lift the spirits.

 

The Trio has a wide repetoire that encompasses lively acoustic swing, cool bossa-nova and mellow jazz. In this group, Nigel is joined by Matt Wates, one of the UK's premier saxophonists who's multi award winning playing has graced many gigs and albums in this country and abroad. Playing the double bass is Julian Bury, a hard swinging rock solid bassman who is in constant demand on the London jazz scene.
